6X9 Speaker Template

6X9 Speaker Template - I want to build a template to help cut out some parts for a 6x9 speaker. If you prefer to use aftermarket speaker adapters and harnesses, metra offers several products for this. I am a machinist so i would like to waterjet out the part to make it easier. What about enclouser at all. The way i've done this in the past is: I bought a set of 6.5 component speakers for my front doors but the door has 6x9 speakers. I got 2 6x9's im about to put in my single cab truck. Get a piece of 1/4 mdf, or similar wood; Here is the thing though. It doesnt have cutouts for 6x9's in it so im just making boxes.

It Doesnt Have Cutouts For 6X9'S In It So Im Just Making Boxes.

I'm going also put mounts on them so i can take them out of the. Yes i read that bass ports if not done correctly it will ruin everything. I also read 6x9 speakers are meant to be in free air as mounted. I love the way they sound, i found both.

Yea I'd Recommend The Jbl's Out Of Those Two.
